QUALITY ASSURANCE
Our operations are currently undergoing FSSC 22000 compliance certification. FSSC 22000 (Food Safe System Certification 22000) is an international standard based on ISO 22000 that is part of the Global Food Safe Initiative (GFSI) program for food manufacturers.
WHAT MAKES OUR MUSHROOMS BIOAVAILABLE?
Mushrooms such as Reishi, Cordyceps and Lion’s Mane, have tough cell walls that are partly made from chitin. Chitin is the same compound that crab shells are made from. Our bodies struggle to digest chitin which means that when we ingest mushroom powders we absorb very little of these beneficial compounds and process most of the powder as fibre.
At Bioshroom we process all of our mushroom powders through a patented technology that breaks down these cell walls, resulting in the beneficial compounds being made freely available for our bodies to absorb and ensuring that you get the maximum benefit from our mushroom powders.
